Yesterday I was visiting my old neighborhood, the Bushwick area of Brooklyn. There were these people blasting music when we got there, it sounded like some sort of hip hop/club remixes. Once we settled down in the 3rd floor balcony over the street, the music took on a distinct, other, sort of flavor. Starting with Flight Of The Conchords Robot Song, and moving on to Bjork, they started blasting some real atypical music in this neighborhood. And no one complained, and we sat on the balcony and sang along, and it was strange and it was wonderful. And now I have the below song embedded deep into my brain.
